Basic FAQs
-
Coaching helps you move forward with clarity, structure, and action. We look at your patterns, decisions, and behaviors and build ways of working that fit your life.
-
Coaching works best if you’re willing to be honest, reflect on your patterns, and try things between sessions. You don’t need everything figured out, but you do need to be open to change and take ownership. If you’re looking for someone to fix things or tell you what to do, this won’t be a fit.n
-
A coach helps you see patterns, ask better questions, and create structure that works. I guide the process, offer observations, and keep you focused—but you make the decisions and take the action.
-
Therapy focuses on healing the past and treating mental health conditions. Coaching focuses on the present and future—how you think, act, and follow through. If you need clinical or trauma support, therapy is the better place to start.
-
We begin with a free 30-minute consultation to assess fit, clarify goals, and start identifying patterns. Please complete the contact form to schedule a consult.
If we decide to move forward after the consult, we’ll define a coaching package and set a consistent schedule. We offer four coaching journeys: Leadership Coaching, ADHD Coaching, Coaching in Motion, and Platform Coaching (e.g., Spring Health).
Coaching is structured in 3–6 month arcs focused on forward movement—identifying patterns, focusing priorities, and defining clear next steps.
We design a custom 3–6 month package based on your needs. Sessions are 30 or 60 minutes or a mix of them, depending on your preferences and the depth of work.
The work continues between sessions through reflection, experimentation, and follow-through. Progress only comes from active participation.
If you opt in, you’ll receive an AI-generated session summary by email. You’re also encouraged to take your own notes by hand or on a computer/tablet.

Coaching Niches

We focus on how you think, decide, and lead—so you can perform sustainably in high-stakes environments without overextension or burnout.
The work centers on pattern recognition, decision-making, and aligning leadership style with how you actually operate—not a generic model.
-
Coaching is best suited for those stable enough to focus on what’s next—rebuilding structure, regulating energy, and making aligned decisions in the present.
It works alongside an existing recovery support system (therapy, group, or program). If that’s not in place yet, it’s important to start there first.
-
We work with neurodivergent professionals experiencing burnout—balancing targeted quick wins with deeper changes in how you operate, so success becomes sustainable.
Our coaching programs are best suited for those who are emotionally stable and able to maintain work or school.
This work does not include foundational daily functioning support or specialized career placement—therapy and targeted programs are better aligned for those needs.
Coaching Journeys
-
Most leadership coaching teaches you to perform better. This program goes beyond performance. Over six months, we excavate who you actually are as a leader — not the version you've been performing to survive the room. Authentic voice, real confidence, decisions based on values rather than fear. Especially powerful if you've spent years code-switching in rooms that weren't inviting for you.

Burnout isn't a willpower problem. It's a systems problem — usually designed for someone else's brain. Over 90 days, we build focus, flow, and follow-through around how your brain actually operates. Your ROI on attention, not just time. No more white-knuckling through until Friday. This program was built for ADHD brains, but it can also be flexed to help those in job or life transitions.

Some things are easier to say when you're moving. Walk with me, ride your Peloton, or stretch while we coach — whatever gets you out of your head and into the conversation. Movement lowers the emotional charge around hard topics before you even name them. In-person in NYC and remotely anywhere. Built for ADHD brains, trauma survivors, and anyone with Zoom fatigue.

We adjust our coaching services to accommodate platforms for coaching and mental health, such as Spring Health. Please see below.

Your employer does NOT have access to what is said in sessions. My notes on the SH platform are brief (e.g., “career coaching follow-up”)
Keep in-platform messaging limited to scheduling only. We’ll cover everything else live.
For the privacy of both of us, I do not consent to session recording. No recordings or any type should take place.
Video is only needed for the first meeting. After that, you’re welcome to be off-camera if you prefer.
Join from a safe, private space. No sessions while driving. If others are nearby, please use headphones.

Coaching is structured in 3-month arcs. Each arc creates space to define a focus, test changes in real time, and build toward sustainable shifts without rushing the process.
The “intake” session is 40 minutes. It is treated as a consult and a working session. We review your benefits, assess the fit of the coaching relationship, discuss cadence, and begin clarifying your goals.
Ongoing 30-minute sessions focus on goal progress, priorities, and refining plans as we go.
You should be committed to at least 3 months of continuous coaching by the end of the first or second session.
Coaching is not designed for crisis support or ad hoc tips & tricks. Messaging between sessions is limited to scheduling or logistics.
You’ll take your own notes about insights, actions you plan to take, and how it went. SH coaches are not expected to provide written summaries for platform clients.
-
Bi-weekly sessions work well for most people, with some starting weekly based on need and momentum.
As part of your commitment to coaching, we’ll book sessions in advance during our time together to maintain consistency and flow.
Scheduled sessions are treated as commitments and are only rescheduled for true emergencies.
If rescheduling becomes frequent or happens close to the appointment time, we’ll pause to assess whether the current structure is working and if this is the right time for coaching.
-
That time is held specifically for you and can’t be reassigned on short notice.
Late changes often leave gaps that can’t be filled, which disrupts scheduling flow.
On platforms like Spring Health, no-shows and late cancellations are still counted as used sessions.
Coaches are not compensated in a way that accounts for lost time, so it directly impacts our income.
Consistency is also part of the coaching process—frequent changes can interrupt momentum and progress.
-
Many coaches offer sessions through Spring Health at a highly reduced rate—often no cost to clients—to expand access for those who might not otherwise be able to afford coaching.
Within this model, sessions are limited to 30 minutes. There is no compensation for between-session support, which makes ongoing support outside sessions difficult to sustain at that rate.
Outside of Spring Health, coaching often includes higher-touch support and more flexibility between sessions.
Sessions can extend to 45–60 minutes—many neurodivergent clients find longer sessions more effective for depth, pacing, and continuity.
